Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)
Originally inaugurated in 1975, TMII has undergone a massive modernization to embrace a strict "Go Green" concept, transforming into a low-emission zone where personal fossil-fuel vehicles are restricted to outer parking complexes. The centerpiece of the park is the iconic Archipelago Lake, showcasing a stunning miniature layout of the Indonesian islands, which now hosts the spectacular "Tirta Cerita" musical fountain show utilizing advanced video mapping and weekend drone performances.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the country's heritage by exploring 33 regional pavilions built in authentic traditional architecture, visiting 17 educational museums, and taking a scenic ride on the cable car to witness the miniature country from above. Free zero-emission electric shuttles run continuously to transport visitors cleanly and safely across the vast park premises.
